Dear Sirs
my son was in a organised tournament via Trans World called UK Intercontinental Cup based in England training facility over bank holiday weekend in MAY. Trans world have now moved the tournament to August due Covid19 which the new dates we cannot make. They are only offering 90% refund and keeping £250.00 registration for the team, so total £340.00 they have held onto. We have tried to get the 100% refund and spoke with consumer advice who said the contract could be "frustrated" yet they still will not refund saying they spoke with their lawyers before advising teams of this stance. They made teams pay by BACS not debit/credit cards so assume we cannot use chargeback? is there any advice you can give or do we just have to cope with them not refunding the full amount.
