ESA?

I’m self employed ( the hair and beauty industry, rent a chair style )
I also own a limited company , I take no wage or dividend from it , as it will take a few years to repay my initial investment, but that was always the plan as it’s a long term thing !
I understand I will contacted by HMRC to get self employed help , but what about the short term ? I can’t claim any universal credit as I have over £16,000 in the bank ( in an Bond to help my buy my own home - I’m in rented  due to a divorce- the money is from proceeds of selling the martial home) until I get 3 years tax forms from my accountant I can apply for a mortgage!
But someone said I maybe able to apply for ESA , as it’s not means tested , and will not affect the government’s 80% of pay that should get , is this true ?
Thanks in advance
:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:

To be eligible for New style ESA then you will need to have a health condition then limits your capability for work. Based on the information you've given you won't be able to claim for New style ESA.
    Or
    • you or your child think you have coronavirus or you’re recovering from it
    • you or your child are self-isolating because you came into contact with someone who might have coronavirus
    • you have been told to stay at home for at least 12 weeks by the NHS because you’re at high risk of severe illness
