Hi folks, wonder if any of you can help? My profits were under the £50k threshold in 2018-19, but my average profit over three years is just over £50k. Will I be eligible for self employment income support?
The HMRC support site says: "Your trading profits must also be no more than £50,000 and more than half of your total income for either:

The HMRC support site says: "Your trading profits must also be no more than £50,000 and more than half of your total income for either:
- the tax year 2018 to 2019
- the average of the tax years 2016 to 2017, 2017 to 2018, and 2018 to 2019"

So long as you meet one of the two criteria you're entitled to apply, it doesn't matter which one and doesn't have to be botth.1
