Do you need to reconfirm flight with Ryanair!!

Has anybody travelled with Ryanair recently? Bought a return ticket with Ryanair 2 months ago and am wondering whether I need to ring to reconfirm. It does not say anything on the e-ticket but when my son travels with Gulf Air, it does say he needs to reconfirm. It's just I do not want to take the risk of being sent away. Thanks.

  • Nope. Your e-ticket is your confirmation. As long as you have the booking reference on your e-ticket you don't need to do anything else.

No but you should check with the website that the flight is still happening

I flew with Ryanair last week, This is from the FAQ on their Website.......

"Flight reservations can be viewed and reconfirmed online by accessing the Review/Change Flight section of https://www.ryanair.com. To reconfirm your flight you will need to provide your booking reference and the Credit/Debit or ELV payment details used to reserve your flights.

Passengers who book well in advance should reconfirm their outward/return flight timings between 24 and 72 hours prior to departure."

    Hope this helps

You don't need to reconfirm but like any airline you'd be advised to check the flight times a day or two before travel. They do email you (repeatedly!) if your flight times change but it's worth checking their website anyway just in case you missed anything.
  • there's no harm in double-checkin'

Most definately keep checking your flights. My wife and I were booked to fly Easyjet to Amsterdam just for a day trip going out from Stansted on their 7.00 am flight and coming back at 21.00. I have just had to cancel the flights and claim a refund after they cancelled the 21.00 flight and booked on to one at 16.00!
I only found out at work last night when I was curious to see what the current prices on our flights were. No e-mail from Easyjet to tell us about the changes!
No reliance should be placed on the above.
