Advice needed on delivery company and "guaranteed next day delivery"

As far as I can see, during the booking flow all it says on their site is:
Delivery Guarantee
Add guaranteed delivery for £1.72 With the delivery guarantee, you will be entitled to a full refund of your carriage if your parcel is not delivered by (24/04/2020)**Not valid if the collection or delivery was attempted or impaired
The link to the T&Cs (on the part of the flow that has the Accept T&Cs button) doesn't mention anything about the guarantee and the term impaired is really vague.
Notice before action and small claims for the value of the service if P2G won't refund is the answer.

After all, the current "lockdown" has been in place for quite a while now and it was only a few days ago that the OP purchased this "guaranteed" delivery service.
It is scummy of them to offer a guaranteed refund, not turn up and then wriggle out of it
