Motability postpone payments wilst on lockdown

Options
Hi MSE and everyone,
Not sure this is the right place to ask. I currently have a Motability car on contract. I've been told buy the government to stay in home for 3 months and shield myself due to the Covid-19. I've asked Motabilty twice now if they can help me by postponing and or extending the term of my monthly car payments as I'm paying Motability for a car i cant use for at least 3 months whilst on lockdown. The car is sat in my garage and has not been used or moved since the lockdown started. This is leaving in a difficult frustrating, financial situation. So far Motability have said no, twice!
Can MSE or someone help me and i guess thousands of other Motability users with this same situation please?

Presumably you are in receipt of the higher rate of mobility allowance to fund the lease and you're still getting this regardless?

As frustrating as it might seem Motability are not obliged to postpone your lease on a car that you're not using.

As above and as you are unable to be mobile will you be returning the payments made to you ??

...and other people can, of course, continue to use the car on your behalf while you're isolated. Shopping, etc.

    Not being funny here.
Why is it leaving you in this situation?

You are actually better off, as you are not having to put fuel in the car. It costs you nothing else. NO RFT, Insurance & Servicing costs they are all paid for you by Motability.
