We have three properties on our shortlist, A, B, and C. It is property B that is imminently going to closing date we've been advised so we today made a serious offer on property A. If the offer is not accepted, hopefully it will lead to serious negotiations, if it leads to nothing then we can move onto property B knowing we had a go at getting A. does that seem logical?
Do you mind me asking what price band you’re looking at in Edinburgh? We’re also looking but there’s nothing new coming on the market at all right now (understandable). Have you also viewed these properties already, before the lockdown?
Viewed them all several times before the lockdown.

    Our search range was £300-400,000.
Ah not too dissimilar to myself, except that we’ll need to wait until we can do viewings as only just starting our search. Are you offering much above HR value or taking current events in to consideration? It’s very difficult to tell how much competition there will be in what is normally a super competitive market.
Decided to make the first offer £30,000 under value to negotiate from there.

Good luck, would be interested to hear how you got on.
Still no response from the selling agents, I wonder if they are giving it serious consideration or so offended that they won't reply.
  • Literally 5 mins after I posted our solicitor phoned.

They are going to contact the other note of interest(s) to see if they intend to bid at a closing date.

On Tuesday we were informed that there was our note of interest and one other, they're saying that there are three notes of interest now.
