MP is your Member of Parliament and can normally be found by asking Auntie Google. It is not a scam in the accepted sense of the word but you can always ignore debt collector letters as you will see if you follow the link in the NEWBIE sticky that I pointed you to in the previous post.Rose15964 said:Dear D_P_Dance
Thank you for your comment.
Can you please clarify who is MP and where can I get their email address to make a complaint.
What if we just ignore this letter if it is a scam? As we didn't receive any letters before.2 -
Also, OP you can find out who the MP is for your area or your brother's area and write to them for free using the writetothem.com website - this also, iirc, gives you updates on your correspondence, or at least provides an acknowledgement of sorts and the ability to provide feedback on whether you got a reply and if it was of any help.
When writing to the MP, make sure to include what D_P_Dance said in their earlier post on page 1.3 -
Regulars: have I missed anything? (Still learning to try and be an additional volunteer while stuck at home.)That's great!
I hope the OP now realises that NO-ONE should ever pay a private parking charge to 'stop it going up'! Debt collection letters are to be ignored if course, as the NEWBIES thread says clearly. But getting a SAR will reveal the missing letter(s) not that this means appealing/paying or any such rubbish.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
