Several soft searches from Gambling Co's

Over the last 3 weeks, I've had 7 soft searches from Gambling Companies, all different. I have no accounts with any of them and I know soft searches don't harm my credit scoring, but I am concerned if I'm being targeted for credit / ID fraud?
Any ideas, or have my details just been sold on to a 'sector' do you think?
