"Bad Request"

After I have sucessfully set up a new payment on my Santander account, I click on the "back to your accounts" link but this takes me to a blank page with "Bad Request" at top left along with something like "too big a header". There is no way back to my online banking. Tried asking "Chat Bot" but that was useless. Happens on firefox and internet explorer. Any ideas as to how to prevent this?

I got the same issue yesterday and today when trying to view, or to amend, Standing Orders. I ended up deleting them in the app, and setting up new ones. I couldn't bring myself to be on hold for an hour, just to probably end up with a clueless CS person.

If you are stuck doing something online, try it in the app. Chances are it might work there.

It could be a browser error. I normally use Chrome, which throws up the Bad Requests. It's all working perfectly in Edge.

I had that problem, I cleared all the data for the site from the browser, and then when I tried again it logged me onto the new website. I assumed its was a side-effect of being moved across to the new website, and poorly implementation by santander.

Interesting, and very helpful! I deleted my Santander cookies from Chrome, and the problem has vanished. The Santander site looks essentially the same as before, just now it's also working 🤣
