Furlough Query

I was employed before the 28th of February ( started on the 24th ) but not paid until the end of March, so should I have been included on the 19th of March RTI submission with zero pay?

If they didn't add me to that submission can they go back and amend with zero pay?

Many Thanks

It's very unlikely that you will have been on the payroll if you were paid at the end of March. You'll need to speak to your employer to confirm this though. If you were then look at claiming universal credit. Savings/capital of more than £16,000 will exclude you.

If you're claiming tax credits then a claim for UC will end the tax credits. Council tax reduction can be claimed from your local council.

It depends when your employer runs their payroll. If they pay at the end of the month it is likely they do not submit RTI information until after 19th of the month.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
