Adecco (Agency) Furlough

Hi,
After 4 weeks of saying I will be furloughed, I got an email at 5pm today to say they are not fiurloughing. I have been working for the agency for over 8 weeks before the outbreak and I had to self isolate for 7 days. They have not offered me any work at all since the outbreak as I was being furloughed.
I am now stuck and have no money for rent and food etc. Surely they have to pay me through the government's retention scheme?

No, they don't have to furlough, it's entirely your employers decision. You also need to sign an agreement for them to be able to furlough you, i'm assuming you didn't do that?
Look at claiming Universal Credit, providing you don't have savings/capital of more than £16,000
If you're claiming tax credits this will end if you claim UC. Council tax reduction can be claimed from your local council.
Use a benefits calculator to see what you maybe entitled to. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/

Unless you agree otherwise, they have to pay you according to the contact you both agreed.
You can get SSP for the period you were self isolating.
