    The first couple of results on google are usually adverts (in a pale yellow box) so avoid those like the corona. "Your computer has a problem, pay us and we'll fix it" scam is one of the oldest in the book i'm afraid.

    Plenty of videos on this subject on YouTube - ScammerRevolts, Kitboga and Perogi some of the ones I watch. Once you know how these scams work they are laughably simple to spot - like most scams, they rely on shock and pressure to work.

    The cost is usually a big giveaway £500 to fix a PC - most home PCs could be replaced for that cost
