I don't want to switch to an alternative date....
Am I within my rights to cancel and get a refund because the park/hotel is closed?

Be careful how you cancel. If you cancel, it may be viewed as discretionary. Better to wait for them to advise you your booking can't go ahead.1

Yes, they can't offer you the service you paid for.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

I thought that this may be the case. Its closed until June earliest.
I find it very sneaky that these companies won't admit they can offer a refund. All thats on the page is telling you that you can amend for free - thanks for that!
I even asked them on twitter and they wont answer a straight question - instead DMing me. I suspect they'll allow a refund for those that ask but dont want to make it public knowledge. Not right.0 -
Add them to the list of companies you won't do business with. You can experience the day out for nothing if you wish. Build some lego buildings, get down on the floor and look at them whilst being jostled by strangers, then queue two hours for a garden swing whilst eating sweets and being intermittently splashed with water. Then go and sit in your car on the driveway for 45 minutes before driving anywhere.2

Scandalous but they're not the only ones....Aylesbury_Duck said:Add them to the list of companies you won't do business with. You can experience the day out for nothing if you wish.
