Is it save to open an account on line with Saga, how can you be sure you are on the correct website as I have some funds to place in a savings account and the account with Barclays Bank is so low

As well as the usual sensible precautions (don't click on links in emails, etc), depending on what device and browser you're using, you can check the security certificate of the site you're on, which should show as being registered to Goldman Sachs International Bank [GB] if you're on the real Saga site (https://www.sagasavings.co.uk/uk/en/savings) rather than any fake clones.0
