Hi, i have booked to go on a hen do with tui in June, the way things are going it’s going to be cancelled... however, it is a group booking and not everyone has paid it in full, I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and what TUI did regarding their holiday. Thank you

Without full payment it will be classified as a cancellation .
Was it made by one person or had each person booked their own ?

If a single booking then you will get back anything left after cancellation fees .

If individual bookings then each person that paid in full will get a voucher , the others will only get back what's left after fees

  • One person booked, and it was due to be paid before the shops closed. Everyone has attempted to pay but they’ve rang and tui have said they’re not taking payments as all the shops are shut. As it’s a group booking we’ve not been able to make payments online, so it’s not really fair if it’s classed as a cancellation when we’ve not been able to pay due to the shops being shut?

TUI have said that in that case nothing happens until the shops reopen. They won't classify it as a cancellation or penalise for non payment of balances

So you basically have to wait for that and see what the options are then
