End of estate enquiry?

So long story short my grandmother passed away, HMRC thought she may of had too much in savings to receive a benefit she was claiming. Mother sent all the bank statements etc they asked for, been going on a year or so. She's now received this letter.
"Based on the information provided we have compared the assets in the estate with current departmental records and confirm these assets were correctly taken into account.
This concludes our enquiry"
I would say this is now over with and my mum can keep the inheritance. Would you agree, as surely if they wanted money they would say how much and to where to send it?
I only ask as her friend thinks its not the end and its worried her. She hasn't been able to get through to the correct department over the phone.
Thanks in advance, keep safe!
Craig

It will be the DWP rather than HMRC, but yes they have concluded that your GM was not receiving benefits she was not entitled to so that is the end of the matter.2

I assume it is the DWP rather than HMRC but yes, they’ve concluded their investigation with no claim against the estate.0
