Hi, just looking for a little advice on kids savers that can be opened online during this current crisis please.
We currently have the kids Halifax reg saver which matures this month, the nationwide kids savers that has a big interest drop this month. And the mini 123 accounts.
When the n/w and reg savers need moved there will be too much to keep in the 123. I've had a look at the page on this website but things like the hsbc acc and barclays reg saver all need to be opened in branch, there isn't any open online options for us.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a 2% or more account for kids that can be opened and managed online please? Even a 1.5% online would be good thanks

Have a look here: https://moneyfacts.co.uk/savings-accounts/childrens-savings-accounts/
It seems some can be opened by post, and then managed online.0 -

Plus it's not even that accurate right now - the virgin account is 1.75% and not 2.25%, and the account I'm probably going for (family BS, 2.25%, postal) isn't even listed.

It may work for some but I'm not a fan of that page as it misses some key data points. Firstly the age limit of the accountPlus it's not even that accurate right now - the virgin account is 1.75% and not 2.25%, and the account I'm probably going for (family BS, 2.25%, postal) isn't even listed.
The last update date is shown - this gives the clue that interest rates must be checked for the current date.
And it is only a list of accounts - it is up to the OP to check whether there are any that are suitable.

Agree that the market is moving fast so the Virgin rate difference is understandable. But the Family BS account omission is less so, as it's not a new rate, been that way since Sep 2018 according to their website.
So as I said, not a list that's very useful for me. YMMV...0 -
