Missed payments 52 months ago

I have searched, but strangely not found much info.
Im aware of the obvious, the further back the credit blemishes the better/ they only stay for 6 years etc.
but what sort of effect are these missed payments 50+ months ago likely to have on a mortgage application? I have somewhat obsessively made sure my history has been spotless since then - so I’m 100% certain they are the only issues. Any advice/reassurance/harsh reality appreciated.

Thanks

Mu understanding is that the further they are back, combined with a more recent impeccable history demonstrating good management would result in less impact, if any at all. From what I've read, once they're past 3 years the impact diminishes. So if you've been amazingly good at managing everything - it's likely not going to cause you any harm. If you're in any way unsure - it might be good to consult a decent mortgage broker when the time is right.
