Vulnerable people who have been told to self isolate for 12 weeks

Hi - I 've read this on the Coronavirus Help For Employees part of this site :
The full question reads :
Can vulnerable people who have been told to self isolate for 12 weeks be furloughed ?
The answer given is info from the Treasury, which reads
Employees who are shielding in line with public health guidance can be furloughed
It doesn't state any minimum hours or sick pay entitlement , etc , so I'm just wondering if it's just that- what it says on the tin ? If so, how would I go about it?
I hadn't seen this particular piece of information before,
I have had advice on here which I have been very grateful for , but now I wonder about this piece of information?
Thanks

Still unclear if that is a criteria by itself or not. Just that they can be. Worth asking your employer they can either say yes or no.

    Hi - thank you -
I've asked, I was told that if I 'm not on the PAYE then no
Just that I saw that info and wondered , as it doesn't mention any other criteria ( min amount of hours, etc )
I read it on here, but can't seem to get through to anywhere that can give more info ?
I think Martin and his people have been fantastic - I just wish it said more on info in particular

What is your employment situation if you are not on PAYE?

As an aside, shielding is not self-isolation. The terms have different meanings.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

I have been asked to shield for 12 weeks due to being in high risk group
I only work very part time hours for a private household- perhaps , I think , this is where I don't qualify ,
I am also an unpaid carer
    Thank you

I believe the advice was covered on your other thread, you can't be furloughed because you're not on the payroll. It doesn't matter how many times you ask, the advice will still be the same.

Has your partner managed to ring DWP to report the changes?

It was only after reading the info , as I said
No , unfortunately not been lucky yet- on hold Friday almost two hours.
    Monday next try
    Information tends to conflict

You can't be furloughed, doesn't matter what you read or how much you read.

    Ok !
I had thanked you for your pervious advice  - it's not compulsory for you to comment on my post, is it  - so you don't need to keep repeating the same thing on my particular posts
