Tildaplum has a sense of humour, which is fine now this has now been sorted and all is well..To continue the the same lighthearted theme, there would perhaps be the following hypothetical scenario:The OP bought a grand piano but paid far more than a grand for it, this would obviously have been seen as a suspicious transaction . A note would have been put on the record which caused the account holder to quaver as this went round and round in circles before the error was discovered and now the bank changed its tune. As Tildaplum says, the OP is a ' keyworker' .2

I didn't ask to much about why it happened but the guy mentioned that a "check" had to be made, which had been made.

Prior to Monday, my current account had disappeared from the available options when selecting to move money in line with the account freeze/block. On Monday afternoon my accounts were all fully usable in the internet banking app - the current account was back and usable (transferred some money around with no problems). This makes me think that perhaps the investigation was finished by Monday and they just took 2 days to communicate it to me....but who knows.
I get that they want to be cautious but they can do that without communicating incorrect timelines that cause anxiety and stress.1 -
Id change the thread title to reflect its now sorted, magbe remove "blocked entirely" and add "now back up and running.0
