Decorating spindles and handrail

We’ve not long had new spindles and handrail installed but I have no idea how to decorate them. Considering painting the spindles and waxing/varnishing the handrail. What’s best?

Is the wood raw or treated ?
It's down to personal choice really; if the latter, as I prefer the natural look, i'd just leave them, my 2nd choice would be to paint them white as I like a white, fresh looking décor.0 -
Paint them green, its my favourite colour! Its really a personal preference thing though.0

Personally I like the spindles painted white and the handrail polished& stained wood, colour depending on what other wood you have.0

If they installed them at that angle you'd better get them back out to fix it.1
