But surely that falls under the same reason as not being employed by the cut of date, what it is stop companies stating that unpaid leave ended even if it was going to be a few more months.Jeremy535897 said:I am assuming that OP 's unpaid leave has ended, otherwise she can't be furloughed. Why would they? It makes no difference to them if someone already on their books is unpaid or paid but furloughed. The words of the directive are set out in my earlier post, and there is clear guidance as to when the period ends. OP idn't give us sufficient information as to whether it has ended or not, hence my assumption.0
