help... i have a mixer shower and have put a brand new head on it this morning. however hot water does not come out of it only cold. hot water comes out of the hose no problem, but when i attach the head nothing comes out. it is a new shower head and hose. hot water is fine throughout the rest of the house. the shower has been working fine up until i changed the head. i have even tried a different head and am now having the same problem. the new shower head works fine on another shower in the house. like i said, hot water comes out of the shower hose so i know its not an issue with the shower, and the head works fine with another shower.

Hello and welcome. It sounds like the hot water pressure is lower than that of the cold water feed. Is the hot fed from a tank and the cold from the mains? Is the shower that it does work on located on a lower floor?0

Is this just a mixer or a thermostatic one?Regardless, I don't think that this has anything to do with the shower read.
