Hi all,
we are due to go to Majorca on June 4th. The holiday is booked with love holidays and the flight is with Tui. Our dilemma is that we haven’t finished paying the holiday off yet, a payment was due on April 3rd and then the last payment is due in May. In total there is £600 left to pay. We’re reluctant to keep making the payments in case love holidays or Tui go under, but then if we don’t make the payments would we still get a refund for what we have paid in the likely situation that we can’t go? They’ve sent an email saying we need to pay but haven’t mentioned what happens if we don’t and we can’t get hold of anyone. Chat and phone lines are jammed. Thanks all0 -
If you break your contract by not paying then your holiday will be cancelled and you'll lose what you've paid. Neither TUI or LH will be going anywhere over that short space of time. Even if they did you presumably have an Atol certificate that says "Package" so you would be covered by whoever issued the certificate, which would be LH? You need to wait for LH to cancel and then you'll either get a refund credit or a refund.Rewone68 said:Hi all,

Pay the balances
Loveholidays will offer you an ABTA backed voucher called an RCN , 12 months validity , if your holiday is booked . It gives you full financial backing as before and allows you to rebook or at the end of 12 months get your cash back .
You won't get cash refunds nowEx forum ambassador
