Can I pick a family member up

Hi my daughter's boyfriend lives in catford london his 4month old son lives with us in the Midlands am I allowed to drive down to London to bring him up here to be with his son he's been working from home & self isolating for 3 weeks he can do that up here and be with his son who he's not seen for 4 weeks

If your daughter lives with you and the plan is for her boyfriend to move to yours for the duration of the outbreak then under government guidance she could go and collect him. That said there are risks with a long journey and also London has a high rate of CV19.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

He's been working from home and self isolating so hasn't been mixing woth people who could have the virus. He's coming up to yours to live while the self distancing lockdown continues. Then I see no problem you going down to pick him up. If I was in the same situation I'd do the same.Ingnore the judgement zealous people who say you can't and that he must stay on his own miles away from his young family.2
