Hiya, hubby has bought a 2nd hand clarion radio as a direct replacement for the one in his 58 plate qashquai. We have no codes whatsoever with the radio and without fitting it we dont know whether the radio would be paired? with the car or not. Any ideas? Would we have to take it to a main dealer to get it sorted or would we be able get it sorted another way? TIA

Is there a reason the seller does not have the code to give to you?0

We bought it from a breakers/salvage yard. Should also add that it was from Europe if that makes a differeceDUTR said:Is there a reason the seller does not have the code to give to you?0 -

Instead of yet another thread, the Radio Codes Sticky is where you need to post this.1

Id find a car radio dealer to do this much cheaper than the main dealer.
Whats the model of the Clarion it might not need a code.1 -
How the heck would the breakers yard have the code? I sent three cars to the breakers last year and he hasn't got the code for any of the radios.DUTR said:

So why buy the radio if it is initially unusable?The_Rainmaker said:
