My husband has only been self-employed for just over a year. I have submitted his tax return for 2019/2020. Does anyone know if this will be taken into account by the government? Is he likely to get any money in June when they pay out to the self-employed?

The 2019:20 return is irrelevant.
Did he file a return for 2018:19?0 -
It will not. To qualify for the SEISS he must have submitted a return for 2018-19.
