Joint savings account with Mum

Options
Hi, i’m hoping for some advice please.
My Mum has decided she would like
to open a joint savings account in both of our names, with her funeral savings in.
I wanted to check as i have a very good credit rating & hers is poor. Does this have any implications for my credit file in anyway if we were to open an account.

Thanks.

     with her funeral savings in.

Could she not simply prepay the funeral?

As above, there are likely to be better solutions but the short answer is no, savings accounts aren't reported to credit rating agencies and don't create financial associations....

Why doesn't she just open an account in her sole name?

If she needs help, just help her or do it the proper way and get POA over her.
