How large is the cupboard? and what sort of drier is it (condenser, vented or heat pump?)Vikkivik77 said:Hi,
I have recently moved house and I have my tumble drier in a cupboard,
Some driers can get fairly warm during use and require plenty of space around them and if it's a vented drier with no ducting to the outside in a small cupboard, expect to get a lot of condensation and damp on the walls.0 -
Shaun is being a bit generous there!
Some if not most dryers can get very hot especially if not properly ventilated or air pathway restricted.....ever heard of dryers going on fire!!!!!!Also there might be severe moisture in the cupboard and after prolonged use mould growth (health problem), rotting of woodwork etc. (unless of course a condensing variety or vented to the outside...)0
