Help to buy isa

Hi All,
Opened a help to buy isa in October 2019 with Nationwide. I haven't deposited any money (not even a penny) into this account.
As it's a new tax year I am thinking of opening a lifetime Isa and would prefer to use this account to build up a deposit for a house instead as it allows for a greater deposit in a single year.
Would I still be able to claim the 25% on this lifetime ISA even if I have opened a help to buy with no money in it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards

It's a new tax year, therefore only pay into the LISA and you can claim the bonus as per T&C's.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

yes - Gov Bonus is payed directly to your account for LISA
HTB - keep it open and get some better interest rates (although dropping everywhere)
yes you can pay into the LISA and HTB ISA during the same Tax year.
but you are ONLY allowed to use the Bonus from 1 ISA - either HTB or LISA - but you can close the HTB anytime you want.
I see my HTB ISA as a kind of Regular Saver
