Whats wrong with my lighting?

Hello
I have just tried turn on my light in the bathroom. All spot lights flashed when I flicked the switch and that's it. I flick the switch again and nothing happens then every few times wheb I try to turn the lights on spot lights flash again.
Not sure if there is anything DIY I could do here or if I need to wait for lockdown to be over before I get light in the bathroom again. The bathroom was fully refurbished 2yrs ago if that makes a difference.

What sort of spotlights are these? Mains voltage? 12V? If the later then the transformer is the most likely culprit.1

Well, then I think it's either the switch or connection to the switch or connection to the first bulb in the chain
