Hi,
I have a limited company and I am the only employee and also the director. How can I furlough myself? I have been on the gov website but can’t seem to find any info. When I click I on how to claim nothing is showing.
any help or advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks

If your personal services company (PSC) has no work for you to do, you can furlough yourself, but you have to have been on an HMRC registered payroll at 28 February 2020 or 19 March 2020. PSCs are mentioned in the guidance:

I finished full time employment last August and spent a couple months off from work not signed on with DWP. I then found work in September with an agency/service provider being on their payroll until 23rd December. I spent Jan and start of Feb out of work, again not signing on. I found work in 9th Feb using my limited company until being laid off 28th march. What are my options? I am paying myself £1000 per month (no dividends) out of Company funds until it runs out or I return to work. I am in the process of setting up PAYE with HMRC. Universal Credit?0

If you haven't already set up PAYE then there's no point furloughing yourself as you will not be eligible for the job retention scheme and that is currently the only real purpose for it.douglasloney said:I finished full time employment last August and spent a couple months off from work not signed on with DWP. Try universal credit or a benefits calculator to check if there is anything else you might be entitled to.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Universal Credit? You won't be entitled to furlough because you need to have been on a payroll by 19th March. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/furlough-scheme-cut-off-date-extended-to-19-marchUniversal Credit maybe possible, providing you don't have savings/capital of more than £16,000 and then you'll be excluded. Use a benefits calculator. A claim for UC will end any tax credits you maybe claiming.
