Is an advanced healthcare directive worth writing if I get a health LPA sorted?

We re getting our LPAs and will sorted before we hopefully become parents in October but I m reading about advanced healthcare directives and I m wondering if it's worth having that as well in case my attorneys aren't there to express my wishes/make health decisions or is it OTT?

If you do want to do an advanced directive, it's advisable refer to it in the health & welfare LPA.0
