Global warming ?
Options
I have several roses in my garden, the earliest to flower is always "Arthur Bell", and it's always about the 2nd to the 5th May.
I've just checked this morning and it's bud has opened, it's the 16th April today, so that makes it 16 to 19 days earlier this year, quite a time difference.
Is this global warming or what else?

It's been an easy winter for plants in most places, so this is more likely the result of weather and microclimate. However, those of us who are old enough to remember, know that the UK climate has changed since we were young. That's also borne out by the statistics..1
