Sealing shed floor before laying vinyl tiles

I am putting a shed up in my garden so I can lock my children in it whilst we are on lockdown (not really, for them to play in). I am planning on laying self adhesive vinyl tiles on the floor as the cheap easy option. I think I need to seal the floor first? With PVA or something else. Google is not helping with this. Any advice please?

Give the floor a real good brush with a stiff broom. If it wasn't for the lock down, I would have suggested putting a sheet of 10mm or 12mm ply down and tiling on top of that. But I'm guessing this space is only going to be used for the summer month, in which case. straight down on the existing floor should be fine (also assuming it is a timber floor).

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
We used carpet tiles which were thick enough to stay in place without glueing and were more comfortable on the knees.1

To avoid splinters, you need to paint the walls as well.
My other recommendation is to lock yourselves safely in the shed, and let the kids have free rein outside. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1
