  • Been down the bullying route before.

You have to prove that there was 100% bullying going on.
Every week i feel like it's surely my time on the lottery win. Still waiting on it being true though.

In a case of bullying, it does not matter if it was 'unintended,' it is the victim's feelings which are more important than anything else. That is how the law sees it. All bullies splutter 'can't you take a joke' when challenged.
Since when was feeling overworked, under pressure and unsupported described by anyone as 'not being able to take a joke'?
  • Are you a member of a union? If not join up! They will be able to support you as well as attending meetings with you to support you, ensuring that correct procedures are followed.
The next thing to consider is the support offered by the company, do they have an employee support programme? Ask for a referral to occupational health so you can discuss your concerns
When you return to work you will no doubt have a return to work discussion with your line manager, raise any & all concerns during this discussion.
I lost my job in January after 17 years with the same company, I've survived breast cancer, severe depression & anxiety, &  of course stress following being put on a poor performance plan & various immune system problems. I was dismissed because of their short term sickness process, I didn't have quality conversations with my manager in which I should have outlined any concerns rather than jollying myself along & requesting help at every opportunity possible.
the important thing is to talk to your manager, take a union rep with you & be clear what it is that you want out of the discussion
    .Good luck
