I am self employed currently earning no money.
I have applied for universal credit and hoping to get the government grant in June.
Will either of these payments affect my credit rating in relation to future loans, mortgages etc
I currently have no debts
Thank you

No
Aside from the fact you have no “credit rating”
to be affected, it’s not reported to the CRA’s0 -
Your lower income will make you much less likely to be accepted for credit.
A mortgage would be almost certainly out of the question.1 -

Not applying for a mortgage yet and hoping to be back in business by the summer but was just wondering about future applications0 -
Once you get your income back up, you'll have a much better chance.0
