  • Hi i am new here and all of it is seems very complicated. My offense date is 26.04.20 so now is 6 months since the offense. I went to the car park for 25 minutes where I was waiting for free space then went out at that time most of the car parks in Plymouth were free as it was still lock down. They sent me the ticket to the wrong address as i haven't updated the address in the car logbook (i updated it now). Then I got the first letter dated 25.09.20.  i send them a sign for letter to appeal. they answered on 20/10/20 refusing to remove the pay. Can i still send them the example email above ( it is bwlegal) ?

please start a new thread and name the parking company too

its not an offence , its a breach of the parking rules and the NTK went to the wrong address because the V5C had not been updated

private car parks were not free, but council ones were

Never give them your 'phone number.

You haven't given us any information about the alleged parking event such as the name of the PPC, where it allegedly happened, what you have done about it so far, what happened when you complained to the landowner, whether you have received a claim or a letter of/before claim.

I suggest you start by reading the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES, especially the second post that covers the court stage, then start your own thread if you need further help.

  • Is there a time limit for DCBLegal to chase this 'unpaid parking fine' as initiated by UK Parking Control Ltd? My 'offence' was committed back on 13/1/2022, so over 11 months ago. My 'fine' has also had the dreaded £70 added to it.

The original 2 letters I received from UKPCLtd showed an alleged picture of my car at the MacDonalds carpark near Chesterfield, but it was dark and all you can see is a black square with two pinpoints of light (the headlights, I assume). The make and model of car is not identifiable.

Looking forward to quick replies, as I have to get my reply to DCBLegal in the post this week!

There is six years to pursue a PCN in court. And you won't be POSTING anything, obviously!

DCB Legal's email address is all over the forum for want of a quick keyword search.  No-one posts anything!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
