Electoral roll update

Hi all I just had an email from credit score saying I had an electrol role update Ive lived at the same address for  12 years the only thing that's has changed is my son left home a few months ago and changed his voting details to his new address could this be the reason or is it just a council update my address is still all correct on my file thanks

    Have you checked your three credit files to confirm the ER data is the correct address?  You need to confirm the data is accurate.

    Tread carefully and don't follow any links from it - if there is a company calling itself Credit Score then it isn't official in any way and it could be some sort of phishing attempt or other scam....
