I am currently on furlough but my company are forcing me to redeploy to another site.
they said if I don’t redeploy they will take me off furlough and place me on unpaid leave. Can they do this?
urgent reply would be appreciated as this is an imminent situation.

The other site is within distance and the job is fundamentally the same0

Furloughing is up to the employer mainly. So yes they can decide to not apply for you. They have work for you to do and if you refuse to do it then they can follow their normal procedures.
