Groupon won’t refund for goods not received

So I ordered a bistro set off Groupon at the end of March; it never arrived and Groupon now are saying they ‘can’t’ give me my money back and will only give me store credit. Surely they have to give me a refund for goods not received as surely this is as good as theft to take money and not give someone the items they ordered? I don’t want credit, I want to order another bistro set with my money .. and I am not ordering one off Groupon obviously as they haven’t delivered the original one so store credit is useless! I’ve done a case in PayPal as I luckily used that but I have to wait until the start of May for resolution the way. Is there anything else I can do? This is so bad, I am a regular user of Groupon and now will think twice before using them again.

See the multiple other Groupon threads ... the answer is the same; the devil is in the detail - did you pay Groupon for a Bistro set, or did you pay them for vouchers/credit with which to buy a Bistro set from a listed partner?1

Hi it was a direct order with them; it wasn’t one where I had to go to another website and redeem the voucher. Does that make a difference?0

Check the T&Cs of your transaction very carefully. Just because it was all done via the Groupon website doesn't mean the process was different.0
