is it just for the general public?
As obv there are some jobs where it cant be helped... NHS jobs for example.
But in that case should those people be wearing masks, gloves to protect themselves and others?

Even those NHS workers not involved directly in the fight against Covid. Have to work in accordance with social distancing rules etc. Other departments are still functioning . There's not enough PPE to equip absolutely everyone. Likewise to do so would be a waste of a valuable resource.0

Ive been shopping a few times and i notice security staff not social distancing from people in queue or at doors, i see staff walking round in their 'posses' close and laughing joking, criss crossing and almost walking into customers... Its like people are moving around slowly frustrated and keeping distance but then staff, some kids some older just move around with no regards for the rule.I got stopped by some cops coming home from shopping and had to get out of the car and hand over id, they werent wearing PPE and stood right next to each other and did not even tell me to keep distance.I seen people nearby coming and going several times a day and you know they dont live nearby, and they aint just dropping things off or short visits. I seen people going to other peoples houses for BBQs or parties... that is breaching lockdown for sure...Maybe it depends on the city/country and to the extent of the situation there which dictates how seriously people are following the rules..Regards to the PPE and lack of it, i dont get it, browsing on the net ive seen so many people selling things like masks... Ive even had an email offering to supply me with millions of 3 ply masks, not that i want to buy them, but saying there isnt shortage of masks...maybe there is shortage of masks by official supply chains or channels.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. One of our neighbours had friends over for barbeque Sunday.
I saw a couple walking in the open countryside wearing fully protective 3m face masks on Saturday.
Seems as if there's a minority who think about nothing than themselves. Sad reflection of culture in the UK at what is effectively a time of war.

The solution is really simple, for people continually flouting these rules make some of the empty hotels quarantine centres and fill them up with these offenders with nice ankle bracelets. Throw some light security on the doors and have a skeleton staff take microwave meals to each room. Then charge them for their fortnights enforced quarantine. Its a win win and will save lives.

Recently I saw two asian guys walking with their fams (I say asian because they were asian and doing this is common witthin asian peopl...in case someone replies 'why you say they were asian')They saw each other and were like yo hows it going and then extended their arms and then grabbed each others hands and shook them, it felt like I was watching it in slow motion. i was like omg, no.... another passer by walking past saw them too and was shocked, open jaw and then put there hand to cover there mouth ( a typical omg body language reaction). and i was like omg no dont touch your face.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Social distancing is not mandatory at the workplace. It's an "as far as possible" and if it cant be done then the normal H&S risk assessment & mitigation measures approach should be followed.0

In my job in the NHS I am driven round to do home visits. Short of sitting in the boot, I cannot get 2m away from my driver. It has been suggested that that is what we do but .... I think they were joking0
