[Moved] Please help with Paypal auto currency conversion

Hello

I have been doing some freelance work lately and I get paid in dollars into Paypal. Paypal however do not allow me to withdraw in dollars to my bank account/ card (Revolut). They instead automatically convert the money into pounds using a not very favorable conversion rate!

I have complained to them but am not getting anywhere.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can bypass this currency conversion or get the money safely out of Paypal in some way? I have tried logging into Paypal via a vpn but this does not work and I cannot think of any pre paid / travel cards that will allow me to top up via Paypal.
