jet2 have refunded cost of cancelled May 2020 holiday, how do I get a refund of the health insurance premium which I paid separately to staysure for that holiday

I also have this query and can’t find any info anywhere.  Had to pay a large insurance premium due to health conditions and now if flights are cancelled and I get a refund I have no need for this hefty insurance policy?

You're not entitled to a refund on Travel Insurance just because your holiday is cancelled.  Travel Insurance doesn't just cover you for when you are away, it covers you for cancellation from the moment you take the policy out.  Therefore between taking the policy, and today, you have had cover from your insurance company.

You need to check the policy T&C's to see if they allow refund.  For single trip policies it is unlikely you'll get any refund.  If it's an annual policy you may be able to cancel and get a pro-rate refund.

AIG just refunded me for insurance bought via the Emirates website, we agreed that as Emirates cancelled my flight and the trip was not taking place they would give me a full refund.
We did agree that I would not, in any event, make a claim as Emirates are "holding my ticket" for 24 months as per their latest Covid-19 arrangements.

Just wanted to praise JET2.HOLIDAYS
They have always kept me in the loop. I had only just paid for the holiday when this all kicked off .  I just waited for them to cancel in their own time . I cancelled the holiday insurance that included Corona virus cover a couple of weeks back and received a pro-rata refund. So only cost £30.00 but was peace of mind at the time. Jet2 contacted me on Sunday for refund and its in my account today (separate deposit and balance).

I also received a call from jet2, but missed the call.  I received a voicemail saying they would provide a full refund of my holiday.  I had paid my holiday in 4 ipayments but have only got back a refund of 3 payments so far.  I still await a further payment. Has anyone else had this issue?

I’m in same boat paid 3000 pounds for holiday but at the moment only 2000 pounds credited back to my credit card.
