They'll get a % if they win - otherwise they'll come after their 'clients' for their costs - how lucky do you feel ??0

This is the PPI forum, but any company advertising that they can "get money back" aren't going to do it for free. Typically, this will be around 24% of anything you might win plus VAT. Or it will be a scam requiring money upfront which you never get back...If you have a genuine and quantifiable complaint about emissions there is nothing to stop you presenting it to the manufacturer yourself. Why employ a company(especially one advertising on Facebook) to do it for you?0

The largest company currently pursuing a group litigation claim against VW in the UK is Slater and Gordon. They represent thousands of VW owners and will take a percentage of any successful claims.
Their risk is underwritten by private backers who will lose if they lose, and take a percentage of the winnings if they are successful, so there is no risk to the claimants.
I would take anything that floats up on a facebook with a pinch of salt, probably ex-PPI chasing companies jumping on the bandwagon because of recent good news for VW claimants in the press a couple of weeks ago.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.-1 -
There are no "class action suits" in the UK.

I think the Slater and Gordon claim is now closed to new applicants and the case is well underway with two recent substantial rulings against VW based on the German courts rulings applying here (they argued they didn't and lost). Anyone advertising a claim on FB I would treat as a scammer.0
