Temporary fence solution

Hi all
A small part of my rear fence, just over a metre, has fallen down. The fence is twisted and knackered and even the post have come apart a bit. Don't have the skill nor can I afford to properly fix it at the moment. Any temporary solution anyone can recommend? I'm thinking maybe a fabric that I can stretch across or something similar. Any advice would help

Have a look at a 'screening fence' - we have some (no idea why they didn't extend the panels) which is just pinned on. Got some fairly cheaply from B&M or similar earlier this year.

Nothing, just removing the barrier between us and a neighbour we don't know. Also, we have a day bed up against it. If we are in there, our back is completely exposed to the neighbour.

Anything opaque you attach to the posts is likely to pull them down if there's another bout of windy weather.  I'd be tempted to leave it until you can sort it properly (or the neighbours give up and do it for you).

Is the neighbourhood that bad, or are you worried that the neighbour will discover you're the sort of person who has old sofas lying in the garden?
Surely this is a great time to meet your neighbour, explain what has happened and check what their understanding is about whose fence it is. No one will expect an instant repair when it is hard to get materials or trades at present. You never know, they might be willing to assist in some way when (if) things get back to normal.
