villa rental insurance

hi all we own a villa out in florida which we rent out. at the moment we take a damage deposit (refundable) and rental deposit. we have terms and conditions. my question is this. our refund policy for cancellation starts at 90 days so cancelling inside this you get x amount back and goes down to 30 days where all monies paid is kept by us unless we can fill those weeks which is highly unlikely at that short notice. is there an insurance we can get (ie yearly) and the guests can pay a nominal cost for so that if they cancel within the cancellation period ( mainly the 30 days ) we can claim for the loss of rental so that the guests can get there money refunded by us. with this cv-19 out break we are getting many guests loosing money and are basically asking why we as owners do not have insurance to cover loss of rental. i and many other owners have looked to no avail.

That would be a pretty niche product I think and that would generally make it quite expense.  I mean, what those clients are asking is for you to pay for a policy which covers them.  I'd be asking them "why should I?" personally.  It should be them taking the insurance out, not you.
But to answer your question, I don't know of any insurance like that.  It's available on the rental market but that wouldn't cover a holiday home in a foreign country used for short-term rentals.
