New bathroom, drain issue

Random one here guys. You were all so helpful a few years back btw. My dad had a stroke in 2014, the council decided my parents qualified for a stairlift and bathroom conversion this year. They fitted the wet room with new sink and toilet back in Feb. After noticing a foul smell for a few weeks, I power washed the back garden and the day after, the drain cover had risen and was clearly blocked. Had to get welsh water out to unblock, no problem with the drain flow, he checked with a camera. We flushed the new loo while one of us watched the open drain, and turns out the new flush on the new toilet is incompatible with our drainage system. It's too powerful, so it misses the waste pipe and lays dormant on the holding drain. Anybody know who needs to rectify this? I don't know where to start tbh. We've emailed care and repair, which fitted the bathroom, but I just don't think the fault should lie with my parents. Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
Claire

Sorry do not understand that the toilet flush is missing the waste pipe and what is a holding drain? Inspection gulley?

Too powerful I have no idea what you are talking about 🤷‍♂️
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.
  • Its such an obscure dilemma, sorry guys. So I took your advice and I'll attach a picture. We've yet to receive any response from the people who carried out the bathroom work, my mum and I are having to poke a long stick down the drain daily (sorry guys). The new toilet has a press flush, which is far more powerful than our previous toilet. So the waste hits the back of the wall then comes to rest in the bowl/whatever it is. If we don't dislodge the waste ourselves, it will build up and overflow. Vile. Anyway, as I said, grateful for any advice really
