Looking for reliable Android software for USB Endoscope Camera

Hope someone has found something suitable that both works and isn't "dodgy"

I bought this USB Endoscope Camera about a month ago

There is a QR code for the Android phone download in the limited instructions (or to get USB CAMERA App from Google store)

What I found in the reviews was just repeated comments about it not working at all and constant adverts popping up, and the Chinese website looked well dodgy

It says on the box "Compatible with most android phones including Samsung S7 and above"

From the notes:

It can only work with phones of Android system,

it fails to support IOS system;

Your Android Phone must support OTG function, like

I have a Samsung S3 Mini that "IDEALLY" I'd like to use it with.

Alternatively I'd also like to connect it to a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet

Obviously both these devices have a microUSB connector and I believe are OTG compliant.

I have tried 4 or 5 Apps that apparently work (but not definitely with this camera or my devices),  the rating is quite high (4 out of 5) and the number of downloads is in the thousands (rather than a handful) but no joy so far

So can anyone help please?

Any & all advice and suggestions welcome

Have you tried TinyCam Monitor app?

CameraFi is what I use for my Android Endoscopes.  If an app has loads of adverts just put it in aeroplane mode
as you use it, or disable the internet if your expecting a call.

SteveL  you NEED one they are great and you can super cheap ones on ebay. 
My cam looks identical to the one mentioned and paid about £3 for it.

The only things I can think of at the moment that I might need one for would either land me in A&E or court. :-)

Well to be fair this isolation business is rather boring, so we must do what we can to entertain ourselves...

The LEDs cause it to get quite warm so 100% for a session in A&E 

Maybe a microscope camera instead, still cheap and quite useful.  40x to 1000x. Stand is rubbish but the cam is OK for the
cheap price.

OTG view said it was "incompatible with your device" so didn't download/install

Read all about CameraFI on its own website - looked good - no reason it shouldn't work - supported on lower levels of Android than mine.
Initially couldn't find it - the install link had error "File not found" - Searched Playstore
It's now called CameraFI2

TinyCam Monitor WAS compatible and did download and install (once I'd freed up tons of space) .... HOWEVER ....
Glen? I'm not sure that it does what I need it to do, unless you can explain how I configure it.
It appears to be an App that allows you to connect to multiple webcams or similar via their IP addresses. I need something that connects to and displays/records from a USB camera connected to the same phone or tablet. I looked through the settings but found nothing that I thought was applicable.

Thanks for trying everyone - any chance the "incompatible with your device" could be wrong and that the App would (could?) download & install (and work?) if it's possible to get it to do so?
Any further ideas?

I've yet to try my Samsung Tab 3 but will tomorrow

Works on my old Galaxy S4, May have worked on an S2 but cannot remember that far back.
